Bloodshot and Red
04:46
|
|||
Somewhere down the road
There's a place that you call home
A place to rest your soul when you get tired
Every now and then
I hear the voices of my friends
Well they Ain't raised from the dead
So I'm just tired
And now it's almost 3 AM
My eyes are bloodshot and red
My voice is cracking again
But I'm still trying
I Know I'll find my way
To a better place someday
I'll lose all this anxiety and pain
Here's to hoping tomorrow's a better day
Someday I will find
My voice and speak my mind
But until then I'm fine
So don't you worry

Becoming Canyons
04:09
|
|||
Look at the sky
Wonder when change is gonna come
It's late at night
the pillow calls your name
But your too God damned stubborn
So just close your eyes
Maybe in the morning you will find
All the things you though would be the end of the line
Are all just fine
You know your heart
Can be your biggest enemy
It never listens
When you tell it what to think
Jumps right in
No rationality
Breaks to pieces
Glued together
Can you see it?
All the cracks
Worn and weathered
Becoming canyons
So just close your eyes
Maybe in the morning you will find
All the things you though would be the end of the line
Are all just fine
They're all just fine

Missouri Sky
04:49
|
|||
Everyday it starts the same
Wake up feeling like my heart's to blame
But my brain says to focus on the rain
Happiness is all the rage
It seems like everyone's sold out these days
If you find some you better hold on while you can
When I find mind
Would it be alright if I stopped time?
When the wind dies
And the storm clears
I will dry my eyes
Because I can see the light
In this bright, wide Missouri Sky
Never seen what made me stay
Friends and family told me to move away
But there's something about this place that's home...

Aurora In June
03:49
|
|||
Say you want me to
See your face in the moon
Suddenly, you're in bloom
Like a flower in the summer dew
Everything has changed
Won't you stay
And fall apart again another day?
Stars fly by my view
While I'm staring at aurora in June
Light the sky, greenish blue...
Ride the stars out of view
Everything has changed
Won't you stay
And fall apart again another day?
Fall asleep on the pavement
All the faces are vacant
Everyone looks right through
You're made of glass aren't you?
Everything has changed
Won't you stay
And fall apart again another day?

Another Twirl
04:01
|
|||
I've seen lights
Reflect the eyes of a thousand faces
And I've seen nights
In more than my share of empty places
But I wouldn't trade it all for the world
I'd turn back time for just another twirl
Another spin In your whirlwind of a world
We had times when
It didn't seem like we'd ever get along
We had nights when
It didn't seem like we'd make it out at all
But I wouldn't trade it all for the world
I'd turn back time for just another twirl
Another spin in your whirlwind of a world
This is something that I had to learn
While I sat around and watched you burn
I have regrets
You live and you learn
While I've watched you struggle
I've grown in return
But I wouldn't trade it all for the world
I'd turn back time for just another twirl
Another spin in your whirlwind of a world
